
Summer Camp
Welcome to the Horse’n Around Camp Program!
A 10 acre farm with horses, pigs, goats, lambs, ponies, donkeys, peacocks, rabbits, ducks, dogs, cats, and birds. For children ages 5-16 with a nurturing environment where they are inspired to succeed and have fun.
Qualified and experienced staff will lead your child through a variety of fun and exciting specialty activities with horses. Outdoor fun with all of the animals and their care is designed to help campers stay on task. We will work with horses and farm animals and with Kuzco the llama throughout the day. Horse’n Around Camp will help children to develop confidence and explore new opportunities. Specialty activities include horseback riding, learning to care for animals. Team sports, arts and crafts, riding, fishing in the pond, recreational swimming, show day for all campers with 5 day camp.

Summer Camps Pricing
- $50 registration fee
- $300 tuition per week
- $250 tuition per half week (3 days)
- Before and after care $15 per hour
- $50 deposit required

- Easter Camp – Bunny Trails: April 21st – 25th
- Week 1 – Heartland Camp : May 26th – 30th
- Week 2 – Vaulting on Horses: June 2nd – 6th
- Week 3 – Cowboys & Cowgirls & “Indians”: June 9th – 13th
- Week 4 (teen camp) – Cowboy Mounted Shooting: June 16th – 20th
- Week 5 – Special Needs: June 23rd – 27th
- Week 6 – Zoo Camp: July 7th – 11th
- Week 7 – Rescue Horses: July 14th – 18th
What to Bring to Horse Camp
- Blue jeans and a change of clothing
- Shorts and tee shirts
- Ball cap, sunglasses and sunscreen (to help prevent heatstroke)
- Bathing suit and towel (if you’re going swimming)
- Riding boots (paddock boots, tall riding boots or leather field boots) or tennis shoes
- Water bottle or purchase Horse’n Around Rescue water bottle
- Bug spray (to keep away bugs!)
- Flip flops
A Typical Day’s Schedule at Camp
(Activities may be subject to change DUE TO WEATHER)
- 9:00 am – 9:15 am – Arrival, meet and greet your horse and farm animal. Introduction to your leader with rules and safety of horses and farm.
- 9:30 am – 12: 00 noon – Learning to saddle and groom. Horse lesson of the day. A fun horseback game. Learn to untack your horse. Learn Groundwork.
- 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm – Lunch and horse videos, team games, some picnic days.
- 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm – Fishing at the pond or farm animals fun and care or hayrides and pasture games.
- 1:45 pm – 2:45 pm – Swimming or trail riding practice for Show Day
- 2:45 pm – Pack up
Fridays are Horse Show Days and the show begins at 2:00 pm. Please invite family members so they can see what the children learned and the fun horse show they have put together. Includes an award ceremony.
